Honeymoon At Almost Heaven Resort Is A Dream!

Not only did our lucky "Bridal Give-Away" couple get married at Almost Heaven, they also began their honeymoon in the wonderful log cabins there.

Prince Charming drove up the steep, winding, perfectly maintained, private mountain road into the forest until they arrived at "Sugarlands Cabin." He carried his bride across the threshhold into The Great Room with a large living area complete with a stone fireplace, comfy, over-stuffed couch and chairs, big-screen cable TV, and VCR/CD player. The other side of the modern cabin was the beautiful bedroom in mountain bears decor, with a king-size, four-poster, hewn-log bed and an indoor Jacuzzi with a stonework waterfall on one side, a large vanity and closet on another side.

The rest of the cabin consists of a large full bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and even a small laundry room with washer and dryer. The side of the cabin with the perfect view of Sugarlands Mountain has a glass wall overlooking the beautiful, completely private, wooded mountain scenery. The bride and groom could step out onto their large balcony-deck for an outdoor dip in their very private hot tub spa, or to use their barbecue grill. They could return to their indoor spiral staircase up to their own game room, with a pool table to have fun challenging each other. Nothing had been forgotten in this luxurious setting, perfect for any couple!

The Shuckers decided they wished to stay here forever. According to them, "Our cabin was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, just perfect! We had a beautiful view of the mountains, and even snow on our deck! We LOVED it!!! We will definitely return here someday to renew our vows and do it all over again!"
