For a great place to cool off in the desert, choose Overton Beach Marina on the Northern Arm of Lake Mead. Just a short drive from Las Vegas, the glitz and entertainment capital of the world,this provides a wonderful outdoor respite, with all the fun and recreation you could want. Here, in the middle of the dryest and hottest part of the United STates, you'll find the beauty and refreshing recreation which Lake Mead offers. Overton Beach Marina is the most modern Marina facility on the entire, huge lake. You'll find sandy beaches and sheltered coves for relaxing or picnicking. You can put in your canoe or kayak anywhere, or you might choose to SCUBA dive in the very clear waters. Water skiing and wakeboarding are the favorite sport because of the excellence of the water here. The resort also has boat rentals of all types including Patio boat, fishing boat, and "Hallett" Performance Ski Boats and personal watercraft rentals.
