Resume for Bill Neely

A graduate of Southern Methodist University with a B.A. degree in English and History, I also have a M.A. degree in Literature from Texas A&M Commerce, with additional graduate work in History, Education, and Theology. I have been professor of Reading Instruction and English at Paris Junior College in Paris, TX, for the past twenty years.

Prior to teaching, my profession was as rancher and farmer for fifteen years, and as such I was sent to the UK in an agricultural business exchange program. My business career also included three years experience as a banker. My love for traveling came from extensive experience as Executive Officer of an International Corporation, which took me to several continents: Europe, Africa, Australia, and Central America, and all over North America. I was also privileged to take several courses of study in international Institutions abroad.

My hobbies include horseback riding, sailing, golf, hiking, exploring, and driving an RV throughout North America.

Published credits and experience include: magazine features and photos; Public Speaker; featured pieces on Talking Travel Radio international; A Treatise: Nikos Kazantzakis: Confronting the Fearful Void; book editor; book reviewer.
