TREKKING WITH TODDLERS Going into the wild with your child- Trekking with Toddlers Hey, parents! Have you ever wanted to go hiking with your children but worried about what to do to keep them interested, entertained, and safe? Jeff Alt will be teaming up with the Shenandoah National Park rangers on Saturday, June 7, 2008 (National Trails Day) to present a seminar on Trekking with Toddlers. The event is from 9:30 a.m.-noon. It is FREE with paid park entrance fee, but reservations are required. Space is limited to 20 adults plus accompanying children. Here is a chance to learn from the experts. Jeff and the rangers will discuss how to share nature with your children for a fun and safe outdoor adventure. Jeff will offer tips on how families with children ages 2 to 4 can experience nature together using the trails in Shenandoah National Park, one of the most family-friendly National Parks in the U.S. The seminar will be held rain or shine.
